悼: 張恬君老師

抗癌16年 「交大媽媽」教授辭世

「盡管在生命中出現了許多激流與險灘，我仍然覺得我很幸運，因為我可以創作，生命有一個出口」，國立交通大學應用藝術研究所教授張恬君曾經這麼說。她堅強對抗乳癌16年，上周四辭世，得年48歲，告別式暫訂7月初舉行。

張恬君天份高且努力創作，深受學生敬愛，被學生膩稱為「媽媽」，她懷抱柔軟感恩的心，引領學生熱情創作；學生不捨她，連日來為她助念，「相信她已自在無礙的飛翔在萬里雲天」。

張恬君熱情創作、教學，日前病重時還勉力完成最後一件電腦繪圖互動藝術作品「許願樹」：任何人參觀時，只要在便條紙上寫下心願，願望就會掛在電腦螢幕上。

博士班學生駱麗真說，「老師化小愛為大愛，她希望所有人的願望都能實現」，這項作品19日將在學生畢業展上展出，但張老師已來不及親眼看到了。



這是張恬君最後的作品，只要把心願寫在便條紙上，就會立刻掛在電腦投射的許願樹上，代表她最後對學生的祝福及愛。

張恬君16歲榮獲全國青年書畫獎，是資深畫家李仲生的弟子，國立師範大學美術系國畫組畢業後，與夫婿、現任玄奘大學副校長王鼎銘結婚，一起赴美進修，取得馬里蘭大學碩博士學位，生下女兒安琪，創作轉向電腦互動藝術，個展和聯展無數，應聘到交通大學應藝所任教。

她第一次參加交大員工體檢時發現罹患乳癌，痛哭後，勇敢接受開刀和化療、放療，未停止過教學和創作，還遠赴加拿大英屬哥倫比亞大學擔任客座教授，舉辦多次師生展及個展。

7年前乳癌復發，她再接受治療，同年繼續開畫展，還接下應藝所所長的重擔。

去年底起，張恬君笑容依舊，但學生看到她開始拄拐杖，耳朵也聽不清；前兩個月探視她時，必須要站她的正前方，因為眼珠不能轉動，但張恬君詼諧地說：「我的癌細胞很頑皮，會亂跑，沒關係，過幾天就會換位置了」，安慰學生不要擔心。

張恬君生前曾說過一段很美的話：「生命對我來講，是一場試煉，也是一場慶典，一切的悲喜、苦樂都是深化生命的養分，越是深刻的痛，越是讓我卸下心中的盔甲，唯有透過自身的苦難才能了解別人的艱辛，橫逆越多，心越柔軟，也更加感恩，更加想要透過藝術去幫助那些受苦的生靈」，久久在師生心中激盪。
